<p id="isPasted"><strong>As&nbsp;a Project Engineer, would be responsible for the following:&nbsp;</strong></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Depots, Service Stations and Commercial Customer Installations &ndash; construction and engineering&nbsp;</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>To conduct project feasibility studies for engineering and construction projects; preparing documentation, drawings and recommendation for execution of projects.&nbsp;</li>
<li>To submit and obtain national and local authorities approvals and prepare and obtain approval for MOC documentation.&nbsp;</li>
<li>To guide the draughtsman or consultants in preparation of the construction drawings.&nbsp;</li>
<li>To participate in the negotiation of equipment supply and engineering contracts with the service providers, in collaboration with the purchasing division.&nbsp;</li>
<li>To plan, organise, control and execute field construction activities, within given time and budget.&nbsp;</li>
<li>To be responsible for incorporation of local legislation requirements, Group standards and best practices for all engineering and construction projects.&nbsp;</li>
<li>To effectively monitor and evaluate variations associated with changes in project scope and subsequent cost changes.&nbsp;</li>
<li>To provide regular updates to Technical Manager regarding the projects and providing explanations on any delay with regards to the projects.&nbsp;</li>
<li>To ensure proper management of all projects documentation, preparation of monthly expenditure reports, posting of the assets under construction to asset register and control of all legal, municipal and EIA approvals to facilitate legal and safety compliance of all projects.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ensures compliance with regulations as well as the safety of people and properties on sites,&nbsp;</li>
<li>Carries out on day to day basis urgent operations such as the replacement of defective equipment, attending to safety issues, and administration-related requests.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Checks regularly the assets, especially by the way of a full scope Annual Technical Visit which should be done with the customer representative and develops recommendations and action plans according to Customer strategy,&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ensures preventive maintenance is carried out as per set schedules,&nbsp;</li>
<li>Conducts random audits and quality inspections of maintenance work to ensure compliance with standards&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ensures that the maintenance contracts are implemented in line with the SLA agreements.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ensures that contractors adhere to the company HSEQ requirements&nbsp;</li>
<li>Handle maintenance work that falls outside of the general contracts (i.e. NEMO)&nbsp;</li>
<li>Anticipates the investments for the replacement of obsolete equipment to increase availability and reduce operational and maintenance costs,&nbsp;</li>
<li>Carries out the works for safety, risk reduction, and compliance with regulations,&nbsp;</li>
<li>Advises dealers (clients) on technical and regulatory obligations, estimating the costs to upgrade the equipment and installations for contract renewal&nbsp;</li>
<li>Manages his/her delegated budget, launches the orders, and validates the payment of invoices according to purchasing rules,&nbsp;</li>
<li>Maintaining good customer relations internally &amp; externally&nbsp;</li>
<li>Participates in asset sales, manages to dismantle of sites in relation with the HSEQ department, General Trade and Mining divisions for remediation,&nbsp;</li>
<li>Updates technical and assets data (Synoptics, drawings, and inventories)&nbsp;</li>
<li>Analyse audit reports conducted by HSEQ and take corrective action, in conjunction with business owners to close findings,&nbsp;</li>
<li>Informs and trains the site operators on good utilization of equipment and housekeeping.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Supports Contracts Manager in Business Performance Reviews&nbsp;</li>
<li>Manages the AUC process&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>HSSE&nbsp;</strong></p>
<p>To effectively manage and minimise HSE risk within area of responsibility by ensuring:&nbsp;</p>
<ul>
<li>Compliance with all HSE Policies, rules, guideline and legal requirements.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Promotion of safe working environment and positively contributing to the company HSE KPIs and risk reduction strategies.&nbsp;</li>
<li>That HSE competency requirements are identified &amp; enforced within area of responsibility.</li>

<li>Qualification B.Sc. or B.tech &ndash; electrical, mechanical civil engineering or relevant experience Minimum years&rsquo; experience &ndash; 3 to 7 years in the relevant fields</li>
<li>Experience&nbsp;in&nbsp;project&nbsp;management&nbsp;for&nbsp;engineering&nbsp;from&nbsp;beginning&nbsp;to end</li>
<li>Technical&nbsp;experience&nbsp;with&nbsp;regards&nbsp;to&nbsp;understanding&nbsp;and&nbsp;applying&nbsp;technical&nbsp;knows&nbsp;how.&nbsp;</li>
<li>High level of autonomy and problem-solving skills,&nbsp;</li>
<li>Real capability to manage the workload and efficiency in the work done,&nbsp;</li>
<li>Proactive and available at any time,&nbsp;</li>
<li>Clear and concise written and verbal communication,&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ability to work within a team made of customers, purchasers, and head-office organizations.&nbsp;</li>
<li>English is the working language</li>
