<p>•    Review PLC logic & debug for proper content, error-proofing, and data collection function<br>•    Lead in root cause investigations and eliminate downtime issues.<br>•    Participate in lean plant floor layout (value-add, error-proof, visual factory, Kan Ban material flow)<br>•    Lead in continuous improvement.<br>•    Review and modify as necessary all equipment PMs and critical spares lists<br>•    Interface with equipment vendor(s) to ensure system design, build, runoff and installation<br>•    Participate in lean plant floor layout (value-add, error-proof, visual factory, Kan Ban material flow)<br>•    Review and approve electrical and controls schematics and assembly system BOMs<br>•    Review and modify as necessary all equipment PMs and critical spares lists<br>•    Review and approve mechanical drawings for accuracy, robustness, and adherence to specs <br>•    Co-develop with QE all inspection criteria, gage requirements, and control documentation<br>•    Support problem solving activities (7Step, Error-Proofing, Histogram, Fishbone, 5 Why)<br>•    Lead and support continuous improvement programs and employee involvement work teams<br>•    Participate in CI programs and cost savings initiatives such as VA/VE, MCM, other<br>•    Maintain and promote a clean, safe, and organized work environment<br>•    Develop module assembly PFMEAs, Operator Instructions, Control Plans, & Process Flow Charts<br>•    Support quality functions as necessary</p>

<p><strong>Requirements:</strong><br>•    3+ years controls engineering experience<br>•    Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience<br>•    Experience with RSLogix 5000, RSLinx  (required)<br>•    Experience with fastener torque systems   (preferred)<br>•    Technical proficiency in manufacturing and assembly processes and deployment of best practices<br>•    Lift assists and pneumatic devices (valve, cylinders)<br>•    Experience with barcode scanners and RFID reader systems<br>•    Knowledge of safety equipment (safety mats light curtain e-stop circuits)<br>•    Proficiency developing PFMEAs, Operator Instructions, Control Plans, and Process Flow Charts <br>•    Working knowledge of gage & layout procedures<br>•    Demonstrated leadership, team building, problem solving and decision making skills<br>•    Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), ACAD, VisView, or other<br>•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills <br>•    Able to support extended hours (including weekends), multiple shifts, and minimal travel as required </p>
